I am often asked by my clients for tips on how to curl their hair. This video by Daily Candy gives a great demonstration on how to curl your own hair like a professional. Check it out!
So this all started about a week ago when the holder to my shower handle broke. I was forced to take showers while holding the handle and it was becoming a real pain! After a few days I was frustrated enough to just order a new one. After some research on Amazon I came across the April Shower APHH-CMC Handheld Filtrating Shower Head. I liked the crome color but after further investigation I realized that it has a filtration system. I decided to get it and….omg….this thing is amazing! My hair and skin have never been looked this good!! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants soft, shiny hair and hydrated skin. There are many different filtrating shower systems out there so take your pick! Here are a few of the benefits:
* Filters Chlorine, Heavy Metals & Harsh Chemicals
* Reduces Harmful VOC’s
* Enhances pH Balance
* Softens Hair & Skin
* Helps Preserve Hair Color
Chlorine, heavy metals and harsh chemicals contained in shower water may strip the natural protective oils from hair and skin, causing dryness and accelerated fading of hair color. Filtered water helps skin and hair feel softer while helping to maintain hair’s shiny and glossy look. This is my new must have!!!
While most women go lighter with their hair color as the summer months approach, Katherine Heigl is getting a lot of attention for her new darker look. As you may remember, she had light blonde hair throughout her stint on Grey’s Anatomy but it appears she’s trying to break away from that look to be more versatile as she takes a stab at a movie career. Her new chocolate color is accompanied by hair extensions. Change is fun and even though I have a soft spot for blondes, I’m still digging her new look! What do you think?
My client Carol Locke’s Omega-3 event at UCI was a great success! Check out the pics and video with 2009 Comedy Central comedian of the year Kyle Cease who MC’d the event.
